The Story
We all have a dream car, and sometimes we're able to get it, but life goals can sometimes get in the way. The seller bought this 1967 Mustang coupe two years ago as exactly that, her dream car. She wanted it to shine like a diamond, so she took it to a body shop for a respray, but they turned her away. The Springtime Yellow appears to be original, and a good body man knows that a car is only original once, which is worth more than a respray to many people. With college calling, she's reluctantly letting it go to chase her other dreams.
Built at Ford's San Jose assembly plant on June 6, 1967 and delivered new through a Los Angeles district dealer, this T-Code coupe is a true survivor and ready for the next owner. With rust-free body and floors, no signs of accidents or body work, and what appears to be original paint, this car has lived its best California life. It carries its original California black-and-yellow plates, a clean California title, and current registration paid through May 2027.

What You Get
Drivetrain & Chassis:
The 200ci inline-6 with C-4 automatic is the reliable, understated combination Ford built for daily drivers. The engine runs well and the C-4 shifts through all gears. All electrical systems appear to be functioning. Power brakes are equipped with discs in the front and drums in the rear. The front disc brake calipers appear to be later Mustang or Granada style. The factory rear axle is a 7.25" open differential with 3.20 gears.
Body & Exterior:
This California survivor has no evidence of accidents or body repair. The Springtime Yellow paint appears all original, as was the opinion by a professional body shop. Surface rust is present on some areas of the body and undercarriage, but has not penetrated the metal. The original floors are solid and rust-free. The rear bumper has a dent off-center to the right. The front bumper is slightly bent. All of the glass is in good condition except for the windshield, which has a scratch on it from the wiper being used without a blade. The trim is complete and in good condition. The original CA black-and-yellow license plates are still on the car.
Interior:
The interior is in very good condition, only needing minor attention. The seat upholstery, carpet, and headliner appear to have been restored under prior ownership. A new dash pad has recently been installed by the seller. The door panels are present, though some incorrect screws have been used on the driver side to keep it flush. The driver side has a remote adjustable mirror. 3-point seatbelts have been installed. Aftermarket speakers have been installed on the package tray and the kick panels have been replaced with speaker mount versions . An aftermarket radio has been installed in the factory bezel, which has an auxiliary cable to connect a phone. An aftermarket center console with cup holders is installed. The original owner's manual is included.

What You Need
Drivetrain & Chassis:
After sitting for two weeks or more, the battery drains down and the car will need a jump to start. A parasitic draw inspection is recommended, though it may be as simple as a weak or aging battery. The 7.25" rear axle with open differential is adequate but the weakest link in the drivetrain if any power upgrades are planned down the road. All suspension components, including bushings and shocks, should be inspected.
Body & Exterior:
There are a few small dents around the body and two dimples on the driver side sail panel and quarter panel. The front and rear bumper will need straightening or replacement if a cleaner look is the goal. The windshield should be replaced if the scratch is an eyesore.
Interior:
The door panels have some incorrect screws installed, a minor detail, but worth correcting on a survivor-quality car. Sourcing correct fasteners is straightforward with the right Mustang supplier.
