In 2015, Rob and Jeff found themselves parked next to each other at the Mustang 50th Anniversary show at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.  Rob was cruising his ‘65 Mustang Fastback K-Code, while Jeff showcased his ‘65 Mustang Coupe.  Jeff’s father found his Mustang near their home town on the East Coast, prompting Jeff to embark on a memorable cross-country journey to transport it back home to Los Angeles.  Rob’s familial heirloom, the K-Code, was initially purchased by his grandfather in 1965 for Rob’s father, who drove it daily for several years.  They had it restored in 1989 to mark Rob’s 16th birthday.  Their shared passion for Mustangs ignited a close friendship, paving the way for a series of automotive escapades involving project cars, and now the creation of the ultimate joint venture in Build My Ride.
