BUILD DIFFICULTY
With an easy to understand graphic style, our difficulty rating helps the buyer and seller create an understanding of how challenging the project will be. Difficulty being entirely subjective, we take into consideration project conditions such as simple parts replacement to serious fabrication and finishing.
The Build Difficulty is not a science, but with logical applications of the elements that will be required to complete a project we define the Build Difficulty to the best of our ability. True build difficulty will be up to the buyer and what they are comfortable taking on based on what is “difficult” to them.
Each project on Build My Ride begins with a build status. The Build Status is a summary of how close to completion the project is. All projects are a work of art and “completeness” is to the discretion of the builder. Our build status metric is based on our evaluation of the project in order to achieve a roadworthy state. Just like art, project cars are subjective too!
The parts inventory meter is intended to clearly align the expectations for a buyer as to what they will receive with the project. Parts inventory may include parts of the project both loose or installed.
Parts Inventory is defined further with a tab style list matrix that indicates broadly the exact parts that are in the inventory. Your dream project may be missing some parts that you’ve already collected. Parts Inventory will help make your puzzle complete.
