The Story

This custom chopper was inspired by the Chingon chopper built by Matt Hotch of HotMatch Custom Cycles in Fullerton, CA. The Chingon chopper won the 2004 Discovery Channel episode 9 Biker Build-Off against Joe Martin. The owner of this custom chopper saw the Chingon at the Las Vegas Car & Motorcycle Show and liked it so much that he decided to build one in a similar configuration. The build began in 2010 with the commissioning of the custom swingarm frame by Pro Street Frameworks out of Henryetta, OK. The owner has realized that this is not a bike that he would spend much time riding, so he'd like it to find a new owner who will appreciate the build and take it all the way. He will make a custom crate for safer transport if the buyer would like one.

This chopper holds a clean Montana title in the seller's company name. There is a reserve price, and the bike will only be sold if the bidding meets or exceeds this reserve.

What You Get

Building around the Pro Street Frameworks swingarm frame are one-of-a-kind custom carbon fiber composite gas tank and oil cooler. The gas tank has a hidden gas cap that sits flush with the body of the tank. Both fenders are steel and were modified in style. The paint job was completed utilizing premium paint from House of Kolor and Spies Hecker clearcoat at a cost of $7,500. The seat is custom made by Jessy Calderone of Ventura, CA, in faux alligator material. The wheels are billet aluminum and measure 18x9 in the rear and 21x2.5 in the front. The Metzler tires have zero miles on them with the rear measuring 240/40/18. The forks are the lowered style and are finished in chrome. The large Harley headlight and Beach style handle bar with grips and mirrors round out the front end.

The TP107 Pro Series engine from TP Engineering was built in 2008/2009 and has approximately 3,000 miles on it. I was sourced from a bike that belonged to a friend of the owner. It features the TP Pro-Vent Rocker Boxes, is fully polished, and runs perfectly. The oil pump is TP Engineering's Smart Pump that allows only filtered oil into the engine by sending motor oil to the oil filter first. The Smart Pump also uses TP's patented three-valve design to ensure a constant flow of oil to the engine's bottom-end at any RPM. The Engine Serial # is P02566. The transmission has the same mileage as the engine and is a 6-Speed unit by Ultima and is in excellent working condition.

Partial list of expenses:

- Wheels and matching belt drive: $3,900

Total: $29,300

What You Need

This bike has a moderate list of items needed to finish it. The bike has not been wired yet, so it will need all associated electrical, including turn signals. It will need the entire braking system installed with all related components. The drive belt is 1.5" and will require the belt and corresponding transmission sprocket. The primary drive is missing, which would include the clutch basket with steel and friction plates. An internal throttle assembly is included and not installed. AN type oil line fittings are ready to be hooked up to the custom oil cooler beneath the seat. The seat will need to be secured.

The paint has some small chips and scratches that will need to be buffed or touched up. Add the exhaust pipes of your choice to finish it off and get out on the open road!
